The Ford Escape SE comes in two engine options; the 1.5-liter EcoBoost® and 2.0-liter Twin Scroll EcoBoost® which all have Auto Start-Stop capabilities. The 2.0-liter Twin Scroll EcoBoost®sports a twin-scroll turbo design that brings on board 2 chambers. The 1.5-liter EcoBoost® is the economy version of the Escape SE and blends two technologies; turbocharging and direct injection.

Regarding transmission, Ford has used their 6-Speed Automatic Transmission. It has the Sport mode that allows you to switch to manual gear selection. The standard version of the 2017 Ford Escape SE is FWD but there’s also the 4WD option.

Other features include curve control, electric parking brake, Electric Power-Assisted Steering (EPAS) and traction control.
