2017 Nissan Xterra – Powerful Engine and Performance

Inside the hood of the 2017 Nissan Xterra sits a powerful engine. The 2017 Xterra will be powered by a beefy 4.0-liters diesel V6 engine which generates an output of 261 hp. This engine enables the SUV to reach zero to 60 mph in 7.7 seconds approx. It is coupled with a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission unit, as per the news. 2017 Nissan Xterra – Expected Date of Arrival and Price

It is expected that the SUV will arrive in showrooms by the end of 2016. The price of base version will start at $ 23, 000. The top end version may cost close to $30000. Overall, the 2017 Nissan Xterra seems to be a decent SUV in its class. The revamp makes the car look trendy and sleeker than before. The safety features are also quite adequate. Inside the hood, the engine provides it enough juice to handle city and highway driving. However, the SUV still lacks enough compelling features to woo customers away from the German and US rivals. It is still a value for money SUV without any compelling factors to buy it over the other contenders.
