2017 Rolls-Royce SUV – Exterior and Interior Design

The design of 2017 Rolls-Royce SUV is yet to be disclosed by its automakers, but the model that is testing on the road looks similar to that of Phantom II body but 20 inches shorter. This model of Rolls-Royce will be equipped with adjustable air suspension meaning the vehicle can vary its ground clearance depending on the ground level. The new SUV will hold the trademark details like its RR badge, sculpture upon a chiseled hood, a chromed grille, and thin headlights. However, the SUV will sport a different configuration below the grille, where it will receive a larger bumper and the obligatory skid plate. The rear end is where this Rolls-Royce will be like no other production car from the firm, mostly due to its wagon-like roof and tailgate. This is also where Rolls-Royce might ditches the traditional Ghost/Phantom taillights in favor of larger, horizontal units. The slightly upswept bumper will showcase more underbelly protection and larger exhaust pipes. Expect the same clean design to distinguish the SUV’s profile below the waistline. Naturally, the SUV will ride higher than any other Rolls-Royce vehicle and feature 22-inch, if not larger, wheels. An important change that will set the SUV apart from other RR models will be shorter wheelbase. The Phantom-based mule that was spotted testing in Europe in early 2016 has a shorter wheelbase than the sedan.

Interior:

The interior of the 2017 Rolls-Royce SUV will feature the best material in market exhibiting the premier luxury. The model will feature its interior with customizable wood inserts and premium hand-stitched leather surface. The automakers have provided the vehicle with the best infotainment system, audio system, large and high definition screens for entertainment. The 2017 Rolls-Royce SUV will be delivered with the best convenience feature and a premier safety package not forgetting a full package of driving aides. The model provides plenty of both cargo and passenger space. It features only four seats as the rear seats will have their own console for premium comfort and entertainment.

2017 Rolls-Royce SUV – Release Date and How Much will Cost?

The automakers of the 2017 Rolls-Royce SUV hasn’t released any information on its official price or release date. Considering Bentley’s release at this point with world’s most expensive SUV, Rolls-Royce’s Cullinan might wrestle that title from their grip when it comes out. The 2017 Bentley Bentagya will start around $ 200,000 so, Rolls-Royce might go with something in the range of $ 300,000 and above. It’s Ghost brand retails at $ 250,000 so we expect the Cullinan’ to go beyond that price tag. The model is set to be launched in 2017 with sale commencing in 2018.
