In what is expected to change a few things across the industry; Lincoln is at it again. Having launched one of their own, Lincoln Aviator, in 2003 and stopped its production in 2005 due to low sales. Now reintroducing it after all that time. All we can say is that the upcoming 2018 Lincoln Aviator is going to be a game changer.
The car will look very similar to the current MKT, but with improved interior and exterior touches. Plus, it is expected to offer better mileage and good performance.
2018 Lincoln Aviator – Exterior Body Changes and Interior Cabin Design
This is a 2018 Aviator and for an industry that is boiling with competition, there is no way the exterior is going to be left the way it was a few years ago. The new 2018 Lincoln Aviator will get a whole new design coupled with other new features to enhance its beauty.
For example, the new car will come with chrome trim, which will extend to a roof and the rear portion. The side will also get a chrome strip and to takes its outstanding appearance even further, the car will get a newly designed grille, power LED headlights, big bumpers and wider wheelbase.
A glimpse of the inside takes you through a whole new concept just like the exterior; the inside will also receive a lot of attention. From images we have managed to see, the inside will be well furnished with adequate space for passengers and cargo, as well.

2018 Lincoln Aviator – Engine and Performance
In an effort to keep things a bit interesting, it is said that new upcoming 2018 Lincoln Aviator will come equipped with three engine options. The first two will be general and the other one is meant for impeccable off-road performance.
The first engine will be a 2.4-liter I-4 EcoBoost turbocharged engine that will produce a whopping 360 hp. Second, will be a 3.5-liter EcoBoost, V8 engine, and the third engine will be a 3.5-liter Ti-VCT engine. Additionally, all the transmission system will be a 6-speed automatic type and drivers should expect a mileage of around 22 mpg across city and 28 mpg in highways.
In others new; as we wait for the company to confirm this. There are rumors milling around of a possible 3.0-liter V6 twin turbo engine with direct injection technology and another hybrid version of 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine.
2018 Lincoln Aviator – Release Date and Price
As for the release date and price, the maker has not made anything official yet. However, for an industry that nothing can be kept a secret for a very long time, word is already out. We are likely to see the new Lincoln Aviator 2018 released for public towards the end of 2017 or even early 2018.
The price will largely depend on clip ranges and the amount of upgrades obtained; however, it is said that the base models will go at around $35,000.
