The release of this new model is coming after Mitsubishi set out to replace the entire SUV market with its flagship models. The automobile not only has a special interior, but it also comes with an extremely effective motor.
2018 Mitsubishi RVR – External Body Parts and Inner Cosmetic Changes
The exterior of the 2018 Mitsubishi RVR has gotten a revamp with improvements in aerodynamics, bumper and fused front grille will be some of the features to be added to the new model. The new 2018 Mitsubishi RVR looks more aggressive on the front because of the grille and bumper. It will be highlighted in sports chrome accenting which some say will appeal to younger buyers.
The new edition comes with 18-inch stand-alone metal tires, all season tires, a short-term belly fat that can be used in the event that one gets a piece, and the p225/55FR18 tires. There will be a choice of three colours namely Diamond White, Cool Silver, and Quartz brown. The SUV’s headlights are placed in an angular direction to the hood. A privacy glass is included for enhancing occupant privacy and the rear view mirror has the function of auto darkening.
2018 Mitsubishi RVR – Powerful Engine and Performance
The Mitsubishi RVR 2018 will be made after the highly successful 3rd creation, Outlander. Also, the new model will be available with a 2.0-liter engine producing 196 Nm of torque and 148 hp. Both manual and automatic transmissions are forwarding power from an engine to wheels using a 5-speed manual transmission with a CVT gearbox.
The 2.4-liter alternative will produce a total of 168 hp and 226 Nm of torque. Also available is a 2.2-liter V6 diesel engine, with turbo- compressor. This drive train can make 180 hp and 250 Nm of torque. New 2018 RVR uses FWD system by default, while all-wheel drive comes optionally.
2018 Mitsubishi RVR – Expected Date of Arrival and Price
In conclusion, the 2018 Mitsubishi RVR base model will retail for about $19,000 with the trim model being offered at a higher price. Sources put the release of the new model late 2017 as Mitsubishi is yet to confirm the exact date.
